I am running the St Albans 10K run in Highfield Park, on 20th July 2025. I have just completed a 5K event in tremendous heat and my next step is the 10K, which will be a huge challenge for me. I started running again last September and trained through the winter in the freezing cold.

I would really like to raise a £1000 for Small Acts of Kindness. This is such a special charity, helping to reduce loneliness and isolation for older people. I have been a volunteer for Small Acts of Kindness for many years and so it is a cause very close to my heart. The Warm in Winter gift bags that we give out, help to keep older people warm in their homes, making them feel less lonely and cared for.

Please help me raise much needed funds for this wonderful charity.
