Community partners

We are very fortunate to work with many local and countywide groups, community organisations and charities, so that together, we can provide an integrated service to reach and meet the needs of older and vulnerable people.

Are you a community group, organisation or charity?
Or do you work in public services or for a statutory authority?

If your work brings you into contact with older and vulnerable people, and you'd be interested in working together to connect your community with kindness, then please get in touch.

There are many ways we can work together including

•   Providing our gift bags to people you connect with

•   Including your information in our Purple Pages

•   Supporting community events

•   Sharing ideas and developing new projects

We welcome the opportunity to work with new community partners. Please contact our CEO, Lynne Misner at [email protected] or call 01923 372717

Feedback from some of the partnerships we have in the community

The Community Team from Watford Community Housing collect and distribute over a hundred Warm in Winter gift bags each year.  They commented, “We’re so proud to work with Small Acts of Kindness and to have helped them with their initiative. These brilliant bags will be going to our most vulnerable tenants to keep them warm and connected to their community this winter”.

Dr Mahmood is a community GP who has surgeries in deprived areas in Bedfordshire. In his daily work he comes across isolated low-income individuals. He explains, “The hard work completed by Small Acts of Kindness to put these gift bags together will offer support and comfort to a number of individuals. Their contribution is invaluable”.

Our Community Engagement Manager for Bedfordshire, Sarah Neighbour, explains the importance of our community partnerships, “Working with organisations which routinely come into contact with the more vulnerable members of our community gives us the opportunity to connect with and help the particularly hard-to-reach”.
