‘Here for You - Hertfordshire Libraries’ gift bags

We are delighted to be once again working with Hertfordshire Libraries, to source and pack 2,500 'Here for You' gift bags, helping to alleviate the impact of the rise in cost of living for vulnerable residents. Gift bags, containing hygiene items and information, will be distributed through Libraries across the county. This project is funded by and in partnership with Herts County Council and Hertfordshire Libraries.

We need your help to pack all 2,500 gift bags.

Packing sessions will take place at our warehouse in Watford WD24 7GP.

Each booking is for ONE person, so if you are coming as a team, please book one place for each person.

The sessions will run from:
Morning: 10am – 12.30pm
Afternoon: 1.30pm – 4.00pm
You are welcome to join us for the morning, or the afternoon or the whole day. We welcome individuals, teams from businesses, families and friends.

Sessions are great fun and very rewarding.

Warm in Winter gift bags

Our Warm in Winter gift bags help to heat the person when they are struggling to heat their home. For some, our gift bags are a life saver, reaching those who are having to make the unimaginable choice between heating their home or buying food.

Please help us to make this Christmas extra special for older people across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, who will be spending it on their own by donating Terry’s Chocolate Oranges.

Our Small Acts of Kindness family includes over 450 volunteers. We couldn’t do what we do without their kindness and support. Their small acts of kindness mean that we continue to reach thousands of vulnerable, older people helping them feel less lonely and isolated and better connected to their community.
Winter Fuel Payments

If you receive a Winter Fuel Payment but don’t need it, please think of someone who might and donate it to Small Acts of Kindness. For thousands the cold kills. Your donation will go directly towards items included in our Warm in Winter gift bags. For some, they could be a life saver.
