Starting 2026 with a new partnership, we are delighted to have been chosen by Home Instead Watford as their Charity of the Year! Members of their team have been volunteering with us for over a year now and it is wonderful to have been nominated and selected to support us throughout the coming year.

Lynne Misner, Small Acts of Kindness CEO & Founder, said “What better way to start the new year, than extending our relationship with the fantastic team at Home Instead Watford. We are extremely proud and touched that they have chosen us as their Charity of the Year.  Working in partnership with local businesses, especially one that so closely reflects our own values, deepens our community engagement and increases our capacity to reach even more vulnerable, older people."
Home Instead Watford shared, “We chose Small Acts of Kindness because their mission closely aligns with our own values of care, compassion, and community.  As a local charity supporting people in Watford and the surrounding areas, they make a real and tangible difference to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Their work goes beyond immediate support such as food, clothing, and essentials; they also focus on restoring dignity, offering hope, and helping individuals take positive steps towards stability and independence. This mirrors Home Instead Watford’s commitment to improving lives through meaningful, person-centred care. By supporting Small Acts of Kindness, we are proud to give back locally, strengthen our community, and help ensure that kindness—no matter how small—continues to have a powerful impact.”

We are hugely grateful to them for this wonderful opportunity and can’t wait to begin working with them more closely as together we make a difference, one small act of kindness at a time.
