Launching our 'Warm this Winter’ campaign

This winter, thousands of older people will be struggling to heat their homes, many making the almost unimaginable choice between eating and heating. For an older person, the cold can have a devastating impact on their physical and mental wellbeing.

We have already seen the impact of the recent changes in government policy to the Winter Fuel Payment and the Autumn increase to the Energy Price Cap, with a surge in gift bag requests and nominations.

With so many people voicing their concerns at how older people will manage this winter, our appeal is simple - you can make a difference and help us to keep thousands of older people warm in their homes by donating £35, the cost of a Small Acts of Kindness Warm in Winter gift bag.
