‘Your bag reaches out to people in a way nothing else does.’ - Gift bag recipient

We are delighted to share with you our Impact Report 2024. As we celebrate 10 years of Small Acts of Kindness, it is a time of reflection. We are hugely proud of all of our achievements and the incredible journey we have come on.

We couldn’t do any of what we do, without our amazing volunteer family, supporters, partners and funders. 2024 saw partnerships strengthen as we continued to work closely with Hertfordshire County Council, sourcing and packing gift bags for over 4,500 residents across the county.

For the very first time, we held simultaneous volunteer sessions across both Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire in Watford and Luton. We packed and distributed all 2,000 Warm in Winter gift bags for Bedfordshire, in Bedfordshire, furthering our engagement with community organisations and volunteers, with grateful thanks to Marsh Farm Futures for hosting us.

Working with Hertfordshire Police, we saw all of our individual requests for gift bags, fulfilled by the incredible Police Community Support Officers, creating connections that will last far beyond the initial delivery of the bag.

We are hugely thankful to the team at Ipsos UK, who once again given us their time to analyse all of the feedback we receive, allowing us to really measure the impact we are having. Their expertise and time has been game changing with regards to data collection. It has given us a real insight into the daily challenges and struggles they face, allowing us to understand the difference our work is making.

A huge thank you to everyone who has performed a ‘small act of kindness’. Together, we really are making a positive and meaningful difference to some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
